Ed Cartier is a senior consultant for Sage Technology Resources.  He has a long and distinguished career in software marketing, licensing and sales.  Ed acts as the Marketing Director and Treasurer for xAssets LLC, the US subsidiary of xAssets Ltd.  Previously Ed was Sr. Vice President of Corporate communications for Eracent, Inc. Prior to Sage, he spent thirteen years in the AT&T/Lucent Technologies Intellectual Property Business.

Ed has been widely published, regularly contributing articles to trade publications focused on IT asset management. He also authored several published white papers dealing with the role of IT asset management tools in maintaining network security and controlling IT costs. While at Lucent he was recognized as one of the top 50 channel executives for two consecutive years.

Ed holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Rutgers University, New Brunswick, NJ, an MBA from Fairleigh Dickinson University and is a graduate of the AEA/Stanford Executive Institute on Managing Technology Companies held at the Stanford University School of Business at Palo Alto California.
